Born from listening
MindWell Community began when neighbours realised how many people were quietly struggling, and how few places existed to talk about it.
What started as informal conversations grew into a trusted organisation offering counselling, peer groups, school programmes and practical skills training. Today we work alongside families, schools, local leaders and health providers so that support is never out of reach.
One belief guides us: when a community understands mental health and looks after each other, everyone is stronger.

Our journey
A small group of volunteers began hosting community talks on mental health and wellbeing.
Peer support groups opened and our first trained counsellors joined the team.
We expanded into schools and launched dignity and skills support for girls.
